Great South Bay Society 19th Annual Bay Cleanup

We will continue our efforts to clean the islands of the Great South Bay. The participants of this event have done a tremendous job over the years to clean up tens of thousands of pounds of debris from the islands. The refuse has decreased significantly over the years due to our and others’ success. However, we will continue to carry forth the effort.
Since 2021’s cleanup, all proceeds of the event will go towards a specific fund that was established at NY Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center. This fund was set up to help those receiving cancer treatment who need services that are not affordable or covered by insurance. Transportation and parking have been the greatest needs.
We thank you for your support in the annual Bay Cleanup and for supporting those who are affected by a terrible disease and are in need of help.
